Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RAVO Malaysia website (ravofilm.com.my) and our window film installation services. By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

RAVO Malaysia ("we," "us," "our") is a professional window film installation company providing automotive, residential, and commercial window tinting services throughout Malaysia. We operate in accordance with Malaysian consumer protection laws and industry standards.

These Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of updated Terms.

2. Website Use License

RAVO Malaysia grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use the website content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, or publish any website content without written permission
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the website content
  • Use the website for commercial purposes or to promote competing services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to website systems or user accounts
  • Engage in harassment, abuse, or any conduct that disrupts normal website operation
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract data without permission

3. Service Terms and Installation

Quotation and Booking: All quotations are valid for 30 days. Prices are subject to change without notice. A deposit or full payment may be required to confirm your booking. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to avoid penalties.

Installation Process: RAVO Malaysia provides professional window film installation for automotive, residential, and commercial properties. Installation timelines depend on property size and complexity. We will provide estimated completion dates, but RAVO Malaysia is not liable for delays caused by weather conditions, vehicle mechanical issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

Warranty: All RAVO window film products come with a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Typical warranty periods range from 5-10 years depending on product type. Warranty does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, improper maintenance, or damage caused by third parties.

Client Responsibility: Clients must ensure vehicles/properties are clean and accessible on the installation date. RAVO Malaysia is not responsible for damage to vehicle interiors, property surfaces, or personal items during installation unless caused by RAVO's negligence.

4. Limitations of Liability

RAVO Malaysia and its employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profit, revenue, data, or business opportunity
  • Damage or loss caused by third parties, accidents, or negligence of the client
  • Issues arising from improper maintenance or use of installed window film
  • Website errors, downtime, or unavailability

RAVO Malaysia's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. This limitation applies even if RAVO Malaysia has been informed of the possibility of such damages.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

  • Quotations are provided based on site assessment or customer specifications
  • A deposit (typically 30-50%) is required to secure your booking
  • Remaining balance is due upon completion of installation
  • We accept cash, bank transfer, credit card, and online payment methods
  • Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless otherwise stated

Invoices are issued upon completion of work. Payment terms are NET 7 days for corporate accounts unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation: Clients may cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled installation date. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will forfeit the deposit or incur a 30% cancellation fee.

Refunds: Refunds for deposits are issued within 14 business days of cancellation. If work has commenced, no refund is provided. Any partial work completed will be billed at the agreed rate.

Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests must be made at least 7 days in advance. RAVO Malaysia will attempt to accommodate reschedules subject to availability.

7. Product Specifications and Compliance

All RAVO window film products comply with Malaysian standards and regulations. Product specifications, colors, and performance characteristics are as accurately represented as possible, but may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances and display settings.

Automotive Window Film: RAVO automotive window films comply with Malaysian traffic regulations. Clients are responsible for ensuring their vehicle's window tint meets local traffic laws in their state or region. RAVO Malaysia is not liable for fines or legal issues resulting from non-compliance with traffic regulations.

Heat and UV Protection Claims: Performance claims regarding heat rejection and UV protection are based on independent testing. Actual performance may vary depending on window type, installation quality, and climate conditions.

8. Limitation of Installation Scope

RAVO Malaysia's scope of work is limited to the installation of window film as specified in the quotation. Additional services or modifications not included in the quotation will be charged separately at RAVO Malaysia's standard rates.

RAVO Malaysia is not responsible for pre-existing window defects, cracks, or damage discovered during installation. Clients will be notified of such issues, and completion of work may require additional charges or scheduling adjustments.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Malaysia for any disputes.
